The jeep belonged to Mr. Valentin Lorenzo, our physics teacher. Finally, after 25 years, he will know what or rather, who were responsible for the dents on the jeep's hood. Just look at those smiling faces, sir.  =D

The Kidnap-for-Ransom (K4R) Gang.  Note loaded revolver pointed at victim (center). This victim may look familiar to you because he was the same victim of the TBG.  Poor fellow.  There were no AUV's or SUV's in those days, so jeeps were used to ferry kidnap victims.

The K4R hits did not result in ransom payment every time because some families took advantage of the opportunity to disown the kidnap victims for "financial reasons." In such cases, members of the K4R Gang were instead "reimbursed" for keeping or disposing the victims as they pleased.  The victim in this case was disowned, "dismantled," and left on a dusty road to Cavite.  Poor fellow.
